Let’s celebrate! Gardeneers worked with Mayor Johnson to recognize May 15 to June 15, 2024 as Chicago’s first-ever School Garden Month. You can read the mayor’s official proclamation. Happy School Garden Month!
Through this month-long observance, Gardeneers wants to shine a bright spotlight on the more than 400 CPS school gardens city-wide and help everyone heed Mayor Johnson’s call for “all residents to support and participate in activities that promote school gardens and environmental education.”
