Welcome Back, Smyth’s Pride!

Hello Friends! I’m so happy to welcome you to another amazing and exciting school year at Smyth IB World School! I hope your summer was full of sunshine, play, and adventures. I can’t wait to hear your stories and see your smiles!

What Does a School Counselor Do?
I’m here to help EVERY student:
• Learn and practice friendship skills
• Solve problems in kind and fair ways
• Set goals and work toward your dreams
• Manage big feelings and celebrate successes
• Make school a safe and happy place for all

My Open-Door Promise
Students: You can come talk to me any time you need help, have a question, or just
want to share something awesome.
Families: I’m here to partner with you! Feel free to reach me at [email protected] or Room 115.

How We’ll Work Together?
This year, you might see me:
• In your classroom for fun SEL or Success lessons
• Leading small groups (great for practicing skills with friends!)
• Meeting one-on-one when you need someone to listen
• Cheering for you at school events and activities
